What Do You Choose: Your Soft Drinks or Your Life?

November 30th, 2008 by Mary | No Comments | Filed in Digestive Supplemets

According to American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, you should stop buying soft drinks, if you are concerned about the health of you pancreas.

There was a study that followed 77.000 men and women aged 45 to 83 years without cancer or diabetes for more than 7 years. In 2005 when the study ended, researches counted 131 deaths from the pancreatic cancer (61 women and 70 men). Researchers found out that those who consumed more sugar, including soft drinks, were significantly more likely to develop cancer of the pancreas. Most at risk were those who drank high quantities of soft drinks or syrup based drinks twice or more a day – they doubled the risk of developing the cancer. People who added sugar to food (cereal) and drinks (tea, coffee) at least five times a day ran a 70 per cent extra risk compared with those who did not.

Did you know that the exocrine tissue of pancreas produces digestive enzymes. Normally pancreas is a self-sustaining organ. But, like any organ, it can malfunction. Then supplemental digestive enzymes help pancreas to get some rest and recuperate. I have heard that Pancreas Support by Herbal Extracts Plus 360 vegicap bottle is great. This pancreas support remedy contains 15 all-natural herbal extracts for effective maintenance of healthy pancreatic function.Try it and let me know.

Stay healthy,

Less Fat and Fewer Calories – 3 Tips for Thanksgiving Cooking

November 21st, 2008 by Mary | No Comments | Filed in Diet and Weight Loss, Digestive Supplemets

Thanksgiving is a good excuse to overeat. However, there is always a way to at least avoid some unnecessary calories.  Here are 3 tips that will help to eat a little less fat and fewer calories.

  1. Cooking turkey? Replace the butter with fat-free broth. If your stuffing calls for sausage meat, use chicken sausage instead of pork.
  2. Remove skin from turkey before eating.
  3. Make skinny mashed potatoes by replacing butter and heavy cream with one of the following: fat-free broth, fat-free half and half, low-fat milk, or low-fat buttermilk.

I am a big fan of digestive enzymes. They are necessary if you eat a lot of cooked and fatty foods. On Super Enzymes 90 tabs Now FoodsThanksgiving try Super Enzymes from Now Foods.

This Super Enzyme formula, based on its high potency and complete profile, has quickly become a favorite among our customers.
