7 Rules of Proper Food Combining

Rule 1: Have Liquids alone, or wait 20 minutes and then eat.

fast food enzymesRule 2: Do not combine Dense Proteins (nuts, seeds, avocado, meat, fish, dairy products, coconut) with Dense Starches (potatoes, grains, beans, peas, artichokes, corn). Rule 3: Combine Vegetables (celery, cucumbers, zucchini, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, cabbage, beets, etc) with either Dense Proteins or Dense Starches.

Rule 5: Do not combine Acid Fruits (citrus, plums, pineapple, strawberries, oranges) with Sweet Fruits (bananas, figs, dry fruits, prunes, persimmons).

Rule 6: It’s OK to combine Sub-Acid Fruits (apples, pears, apricots, cherries, grapes, peaches, papayas, mangoes) with either Acid Fruits or Sweet Fruits.

Rule 7: Eat Melons alone.
