Herbal Body Wrap: What is It?

September 5th, 2008 by Mary | 1 Comment | Filed in Relax

Herbal body wrap is designed to cleanse the body of toxins. The toxins can be collected in the body due to stress, aging, lack of exercise, smoking, improper diet, air pollution, etc.

Draw dangerous toxins out of your body and lose inches in less than an hour.

100% cotton with the herbal/mineral solution applied to the selected areas on the body is what we call a “body wrap”. The herbal/mineral solution is set to penetrate through the millions of pores in the skin and cleanse it of the toxins, which are stored in the fluids under the skin. Women accumulate these fluids from the waist down, while men have them from the abdomen up.

Body wraps do not only cleanse, they also help to reduce cellulite and tighten waist, hips, thighs, and upper arms. They are great for anyone who loses weight rapidly and wants to keep skin firm. I would suggest to try them if you need to look fresh and young fast. For the full benefit, however, it is recommended to have four to six body wraps within a period of one month. So, if you need to be in form for some reunion or a wedding, plan in advance!

August 28th, 2008 by Mary | No Comments | Filed in Relax

Massage is not only great for relaxation. It is a deep healing. For home-massaging try: Chronic Fatigue Massage Blend with essential oils of Frankincense Lavender, Petitgrain, Almonds, Grapeseeds and Jojoba. Use it straight from bottle for energizing & invigorating massage or rub on after bath or shower to moisturize skin or add cupful to warm bath to uplift and energize spirit.

Massaging Pillow Dual Function Massage Travel PillowFor your travels get yourself a Massaging Pillow. Lean back and enjoy the therapeutic powers of the Sirius Dual Function Massage Pillow. It is a convenient and portable self-massage tool. Use it for your feet or as a soothing neck massage. It can be used for your lower or upper back, legs or any part of the body.

If you decide to go to get some professional massage. Try hot stone massage. It involves the application of water-heated basalt stones.  They create sensations of comfort and warmth. The direct heat relaxes muscles, increases the blood flow to the area being worked on. This aids mental relaxation. Mental relaxation is key when a therapist is attempting to work into deeper muscles of the body. Hot stone massage allows manipulation of a greater intensity than with regular massage.

Main benefits of hot stone massage:

* Promotes deep muscle and tissue relaxation
* Alleviates stress
* Releases toxins
* Relieves pain
* Improves circulation
* Calms the psyche

Stay healthy,

5 Techniques to Reduce Stress and Aid Relaxation

July 19th, 2008 by Mary | No Comments | Filed in Relax

Stress makes us feel tense and upset. Because we spend so much of our time at work or trying to get to and from it, it is likely that daily stress is a work-related thing. I want to share 4 techniques that help me survive.Morf Stress Squeeze Balls

1. When I am stressed at work I use a “stress ball”, which I squeeze. I actually call it a “squeeze ball“. I bought my online, but I have seen some in the supplement stores.

2. Another great way to relieve stress is by stretching. I mostly stretch my neck muscles by moving my head and my shoulders.

3. In order to stay calm when in stress, we must provide the brain with a lot of oxygen. Usually, stressed-out people tend to hold their breath, or their breath becomes very shallow. So, to help myself I have learned to breath deeply from the abdomen. This is how I do it: I am starting by becoming aware of my breathing. I place my hand on my stomach below the rib cage and breath in slowly through the nose, count till three, and breath out through my mouth. I feel how air is entering and leaving my lungs. Deep breathing has become a part of my daily routine. I do it every morning before starting my car.

4. Visualization is something that I am trying. I try to imagine a garden or a house. I think about all the details I want it to have: flowers or chairs. For me, visualization works when I go to sleep and can not take my mind away from worrying.

5. This one I forgot, so please send me your advice on how to relax fast.

I hope my post has helped you to relax. Please leave some comments, and let me know how you reduce stress and improve your mood while at work.
