Rule 2: Do not combine Dense Proteins (nuts, seeds, avocado, meat, fish, dairy products, coconut) with Dense Starches (potatoes, grains, beans, peas, artichokes, corn). When you eat cooked foods, use enzymes to help your digestion. Great choice is Natural Balance Fast Food Enzymes.
Rule 3: Combine Vegetables (celery, cucumbers, zucchini, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, cabbage, beets, etc) with either Dense Proteins or Dense Starches.
Rule 4: Eat Fruits alone or leave them alone.
Rule 5: Do not combine Acid Fruits (citrus, plums, pineapple, strawberries, oranges) with Sweet Fruits (bananas, figs, dry fruits, prunes, persimmons).
Rule 6: It’s OK to combine Sub-Acid Fruits (apples, pears, apricots, cherries, grapes, peaches, papayas, mangoes) with either Acid Fruits or Sweet Fruits.
Rule 7: Eat Melons alone.
